Survivor Winner: $20 (NEW)
The survivor game is simple. After Week 1, the lowest team score is eliminated. After Week two, the lowest score from the remaining 11 is eliminated. At the end of Week 12 there will be one survivor who pockets the cash.
In the event of a survivor tie, the tie-breakers will be:
#1 - Bench Points
#2 - Total Touchdowns (all players)
#3 - Total Yards from Scrimmage (rushing and receiving, all players)
If there is still a tie after that, get ready for the Apocalypse because something strange is going on.
Details: For those who have played in our league before, it will be pretty much the same. Our league is hosted on the Yahoo! Fantasy Football Site, you must have a free Yahoo! ID to play. We play head-to-head style, where your team will be matched up against one other team from the league in a given week. Since Week 17 is full of a lot of throwaway games where playoff teams rest their stars, etc., we will hold our SuperBowl in Week 16. Six teams will make the single-elimination playoffs, starting in Week 14. There will be 13 weeks in the regular season. Tie-breakers for playoff seedings are determined by total points.
Each team's roster will be comprised of 16 players. 8 players will start every week, represented by the following positions:
1 Quarterback
2 Running Backs
2 Wide Receivers
1 Tight End
1 Kicker
1 Defensive Unit.
Your bench players may contain any combination of these positions, though typically many teams will carry 2 QB's, 4 RB's, 4 WR's, 2 TE's, 2 K's, and 2 DEF's.
